Professor Judy Hutchings was one of the Bangor University staff to attend an event for 180 alumni, honorary fellows, friends of the University, guests who were hosted in the Cholmondeley Room and terrace of the House of Lords, London on Tuesday, 12 September, 2023.
Guests were welcomed by Lord DafyddWigley and addressed by Bangor University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Edmund Burke, and Chair of Council, Marian Wyn Jones. They were also treated to a performance by three students from the Department of Music and heard from alumnus Harry Riley (Master of Biology, 2019), Head of Planning and Governance in Online Harms in the UK Government’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, about his time at Bangor. Bangor alumni caught up with one another and chatted to staff from across the University whilst enjoying drinks, canapes and the splendid views of London across the Thames from the Terrace.
